He is a certified personal trainer in strength and nutrition with over 15 years of successfully assessing the fitness and dieting habits and goals of his clients. His approach is tailored to each client, and he takes pride in guiding and advising, while individually training clients in to target their specific health conditions and fitness goals. It all started when Hector was 15 years old and became interested in body building. He turned this passion into helping others train for competitive bodybuilding shows with clients scoring in the top 3 positions. This has lead to a rewarding career in fitness and nutrition. Dr. Staci Arnold | Pediatrician | Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York, Columbia University Medical Center
Staci Arnold is a board-certified Pediatrician who specializes in caring for children with blood disorders and childhood cancers. She obtained her degree in medicine and master of business administration from Duke University. After completing her residency at the Duke University Medical Center, she joined the faculty in their Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant program. After her tenure at Duke, she pursued further training at New York Presbyterian Columbia Campus. She is now the latest addition to the faculty in the division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplant at the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York, Columbia University Medical Center. Her research focuses on outcomes of bone marrow transplant for children with sickle cell disease. Dr. Arnold has numerous scientific publications and has been the recipient of honors from national organizations including the National Medical Association, the American Society of Hematology, and the National Institutes of Health. She has been active in a number of community health initiatives throughout her career and continues to focus on enhancing the medical knowledge and health of women and minorities. For VidaVibrante, Dr. Arnold helps to cut through the clutter of the latest pediatric research so Latino parents can fully understand how their children are affected.

Tamekia Flowers, a Brooklyn, New York native, is the founder of Rhythm & Flow Yoga, a Vinyasa Yoga practice that was founded on the principals of mindfulness, compassion, proper alignment, personalized attention, and acceptance. Tameika implemented Rhythm & Flow Yoga as the primary wellness program for Epiphany Blue, a full service lifestyle and wellness event planning agency of which she is also the Founder and Principal Event Specialist. In addition to serving as a Certified Yoga Instructor and operating Epiphany Blue, Tamekia Flowers is the Founder/Executive Director of Hip Hop 4 Life, a 501c3 youth empowerment organization committed to providing interactive life skills and health awareness programs designed to engage, educate, and empower young people to lead extraordinary lives. Cynthia Santiago is the Founder of Latina Wellness and received her Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University and her B.A. from Hamilton College. Cynthia is initiated in the Yoruba-Lukumi branch of the Orisha tradition and is a priestess of Obatala. All of her work is infused by her deep belief that spirituality, positive psychology, and the science of happiness can be used for transforming the mind, body, and spirit. Dr. Helen Troncoso received her Bachelors Degree from Rutgers University and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. Always a beauty (and brainy) queen, she is the current Ms. New York America 2012, and was Ms. New York Belleza Latina 2011, where she placed as 1st runner-up in the Ms. Belleza Latina International 2012 competition. She is CEO & Founder of Reinventing You, LLC, where she serves as a health and wellness consultant, designing individual and corporate wellness, fitness, and nutritional programs.
A fierce advocate for women’s health, Helen is especially passionate about bringing awareness to cervical cancer, serving as the 1st Vice President of the New York chapter of Tamika & Friends, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness on cervical cancer and it’s link to the human papillomavirus (HPV).
She began writing as a hobby to chronicle her memories as a titleholder, which sparked a fresh approach to inform and engage others on the many health disparities affecting the Latino community. In 2012, she was named one of the “Top 6 Latino Health Bloggers of 2012″ by Voxxi, and nominated by her peers for two WEGO Health Activist awards. In 2011, she was nominated for “Best LatinoHealth Blogger” by LATISM, the largest organization for Latino professionals in social media.
Helen has served as an Ambassador for the ”Go Before You Show,” prenatal care campaign by the Westchester County Department of Health & the Lower Hudson Valley Perinatal Network, and recorded a bilingual Public Service Announcement for WSKQ-FM La Mega 97.9.
Helen has appeared on the “Dr. Oz” show, and has provided health tips for Shape magazine, Latina magazine, NBC Latino, El Diario La Prensa NY, Fox News Latino, Impacto Latin News, Mamiverse.com and Voxxi.com.
Her most recent endeavor is as co-host of a new show, “El Bien Estar del Hogar con Casa Latina,” on V-me TV, the first national Spanish-language network to partner with American public television, and the fourth largest Spanish network in the United States. This show will follow Helen as she will work with women to transform their health and lives.
